For continuous Quality Improvement

  For over all performance and capacity building and to remove obsolescence , Directorate of Employment & Training has decided to obtain  ISO:9001:2000  CERTIFICATION in ITIs of the State. ISO:9001:2000  CERTIFICATION specifies requirement for a quality management system that can be used for internal application by organization as far as certification as well as contractual purpose.  In view of the above, to upgrade the skill mechanism in the ITIs and to improve the quality of training.

 

19 Govt.  ITIs Kubernagar, Sarkhej, Tarsali , Gandhinagar,  Saraspur, Rajkot, Bilimora, Bhuj, Matar, Modasa, Gondal, Junagadh, Amreli, Dhrangadhra, Surat, Palsana, Palanpur, Visnagar, Jamnagar have  obtained ISO:9001:2000 Certification. Whereas State Office of the Directorate of Employment and Training  have  obtained ISO:9001:2008 Certification. Process underway to obtain ISO 9001:2000 Certification in another  7  ITIs at Vadnagar, Palana, Godhara, Dasharath, Ankleshwar, Pardi, Bhavnagar.

 Thus, in short period, 26 ITIs will be recognized with the ISO:9001:2000  CERTIFICATION .

In view of the above, to upgrade the skill mechanism in the Employment Exchanges and to improve the quality of services. In the year 2006-07 12 Employment Exchanges have obtained ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION. (1) Ahmedabad (2) Vadodara (3) Rajkot (4) Surat (5) Bhavnagar (6) Amreli (7) Junagadh (8) Nadiad (Kheda) (9) Mehsana (10) Gandhinagar (11) Godhra (Panchmahal) (12) Bharuch. and more 6 Employment Exchanges (13) Anand, (14) Patan, (15) Navsari, (16) Valsad, (17) Porbandar, (18) Bhuj were certified in the year 2007-08. (19) Palanpur (20) Himmatnagar (21) Surendranagar received ISO 9001:2008 certificate during the year 2008-09.02 Employment Exchanges (22) Ahwa (Dang) and (23) Rajpipla (Narmada) received ISO 9001:2008 certificate during the year 2009-10. Whereas 03 Employment Exchanges (24) Jamnagar , (25) Dahod and (26) Vyara (Tapi) received ISO 9001:2008 certificate during the year-2010-11.

Thus total 26 Employment Exchanges have received ISO 9001:2008 Certificate.
