About Login Page

This is the page that you have to pass through before you can gain access to the GR Book web-application.

Anybody wishing to use this web application, is required to register or sign up. The signup activity allows you enter certain essential details which are the User-ID and Password. 

A new user can sign-up by clicking the blinking graphic on the Login Page.

The details to be entered are divided into two parts - Login Details and Personal Details.

All Login Details are essentially required to be entered. They are - User-ID, Password, Confirm Password, Secret Question and Secret Answer.

Personal Details include First Name, Last Name and Country. Telephone and E-Mail are two other optional details.

• One user cannot sign up with the same user-id more than once. Although one user may signup with two or more User-IDs/Passwords.
• User-Id should be single words and alphabets 'a' to 'z'.
• The Password and Confirm Password should match.
• Passwords can have alphabets 'a' to 'z' and/or numbers '0' to '9'.
• First Name can only contain alphabets. It can be a combination of two or more words. For example if the entire name is 'Sanjeev Kumar Shukla', then the first name shall contain 'Sanjeev Kumar' and the last name shall have 'Shukla'.
• Last Name shall contain only alphabets and only one word.
• Telephone (optional) can only contain numbers and/or dashes.
• E-Mail (optional) if entered must include an '@' and a '.' character.
• Country can have alphabets and/or spaces.

In the Login Page you can enter your User-ID and Password to gain access.

If the User-ID is incorrect then you are displayed the following message - 'You are not authorized to access the GR Book Online. Kindly contact the site Administrator or Sign Up now'.

If the password is incorrect you are prompted to click on two of the  - 'Retry Login' or 'Forgot Password' hyper-links (the blue underlined words, over which the mouse changes its shape into a hand).

If the User-ID is correct but the password is incorrect, then you can click on a hyper-link (the blue underlined words, over which the mouse changes its shape into a hand) which says - 'Forgotton Password'.

A screen is displayed with four text boxes - Secret Question, Secret Answer, New Password and Confirm New Password.

If you enter the Secret Question and Answer correctly (as you had entered it during the Signup/Registration), then the new password you entered now is registered and shall henceforth be applicable.

In the Login Page you have the option to select the language in which you would like to view the pages and the data.

The current options are Gujarati and English (which is the default language when you access the GR Online web-application, the first time, each time).
