PLACEMENT ADVISORY BUREAUS IN ITIs

Placement Advisory Bureaus have been established in 37 ITIs which are upgraded in to Centre of Excellence to assist the students plan their careers, help in job searching, give career counseling, organize campus interviews and help the students get jobs as soon as they pass-out of the ITIs. Placement of ITI pass-out students is crucial and number of students getting jobs is an important indicator for the performance of ITIs. Newspapers, Periodicals, Magazines and Books which may be helpful to the ITI trainees are available in the Bureau. Computers with internet connection enable the students to access employment related information. Professional counseling services are also made available to students. The Placement Advisor documents the information of each and every ITI student, help t hem prepare their curriculum-vitae and assist them in applying for jobs. Moreover, guest lectures are organized on career related subjects by inviting Human Resource Managers and other experts from industries.
